Mohit Suri's 'Half Girlfriend' based on Chetan Bhagat's popular novel by the same name is currently being filmed in New Delhi. Recently the leading lady of the film Shraddha Kapoor shot a rain sequence which is supposed to be a part of a song at St.Stephen's college amidst tight security.
Although, the crew had initially planned to cancel the shoot due to Arjun's maternal grandmother's demise, they went ahead with shooting Shraddha's part. As per a HT report, the sequence was being shot in the hostel corridor. Bhagat, who is one of the producers of the film, was also present on the sets. Since the hostel is closed due to summer vacations, only those with an identity card were allowed in the college premises and security had been beefed up.
'Half Girlfriend' is slated to release on 28th April 2017.
