Graphic novels, Games to turn Emraan Hashmi's 'Mr X' story into a franchise

Even before the release of the Emraan Hashmi starrer 'Mr X', the makers are already looking forward to turn it into a franchise. The Bhatts are planning to release a series of graphic novels and mobile games that will take the story forward after the film's release on April 17. This is a marketing strategy from Fox Star Studios and the Bhatts to build the franchise before a sequel is announced for Mr X. These novels and games will give more information about Mr X, his friends and his powers of invisibility.

Confirming the development, Mahesh Bhatt says, "Yes, it is true that we have a franchise plan with the film. A lot has been lined up, and we will unveil our plans one step at a time."

In the film, Emraan Hashmi plays a good cop who is forced to become vigilante after there is an attempt made to murder him. Also starring the gorgeous Amyra Dastur, the film has everything that an Emraan Hashmi blockbuster would have - great songs, a sizzling new pairing and not to forget the serial kisser is doing what he does best but this time when invisible!

Mr X, produced by Vishesh Films and presented by Fox Star Studios, hits the theatrical screens in 2D and 3D on April 17th.
