Shahrukh Khan seems to be very sad since he couldn't buy the Kolkata team franchise in the ISL. Sharukh expressed his sadness saying that he really wanted to have the Kolkata team but he couldn't, in spite of trying. Even though the actor was offered other cities as a part of ISL, he clearly was not interested in any team but Kolkata. The team Shahrukh yearns for is jointly owned by Sourav Ganguly, Harshavardhan Neotia, Utsav Parekh, Sanjiv Goenka, and Spanish club Atletico Madrid.
Shahrukh went on to say that even though he loves the cities of Delhi and Mumbai, Kolkata is the city he wanted to support when it came to the ISL. The superstar also co-owns the Kolkata Knight Riders team in the IPL. Shahrukh Khan is very passionate about football and shared that his son and daughter both play football and love the game.
