Earlier there were several reports doing rounds that Vikramaditya Motwane's socio-drama 'Bhavesh Joshi' revolving around a Gujarati superhero, had been put on hold for the time being since the director had written the script when the last government was in power and corruption was rampant. The wrongdoings become the trigger for a boy's personal crusade against the system. But then with a new party at the centre and in the state, Motwane felt that the story was no longer topical.
However he had said that he will surely make the film someday as he is quite passionate about the subject. Previously Imran Khan was to do 'Bhavesh Joshi' before Motwane decided to cast Sidharth Malhotra. However Sidharth opted out since he had some other commitments. Now as per a report in Mumbai Mirror, sources reveal that Motwane is reviving the film with a new actor- Anil Kapoor's son Harshavardhan Kapoor. The source was quoted saying, "Vikram and Harsh have known each other well and have been talking about the project. Now, with Eros coming on board, 'Bhavesh Joshi' is back on track. These developments have happened in the last one month."
Meanwhile Harshavardhan is all set to make his B-town debut with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's 'Mirziya' opposite Saiyami Kher. The film is slated to hit the big screens on 13th May 2016.
