After Priyanka Chopra's 'Mary Kom, Emraan Hashmi's 'Azhar' and a documentary film on Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar sports biopics seem to be the current flavour in Bollywood. Now if reports are to be believed then a film on one of the biggest cricket legends Kapil Dev is being planned and we might see Arjun Kapoor stepping into Kapil Paaji's shoes.
A source from the production was quoted saying to DNA, "It’s not entirely a film on Kapil’s life, so to say. It’s more about the 1983 World Cup where India was victorious and how Kapil, the captain lead the team to triumph. But there will be flashes of his life too but that won’t be the epicentre of the film." He further added, "It’s true that Arjun has been offered the role. He will sit for a narration and then decide whether he will take it up."
Currently Arjun is busy with Mohit Suri's 'Half Girlfriend' after which he will start working on Anees Bazmi's 'Mubarakan'.
