Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone's sizzling chemistry has always been the talk of the town both on-screen and off-screen. The duo surely know how to made heads turn wherever they go.
They set the screens ablaze with their scorching hot chemistry in 'Ram Leela' and will be next seen together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Bajirao Mastani'. But did you know that Ranveer wanted Dippy to play his sister in Zoya Akhtar's 'Dil Dhadakne Do'. Yes, you heard it right! The actor recently made this startling revelation in an interview to Stardust.
Ranveer was quoted as saying, "Why not? We casually joked about it. I even mentioned it to Zoya. I told her in all seriousness to get Deepika on board and that she would love to play the sister. I had signed DDD first and this came up during the discussion. She said, 'I know what you are saying, but I don't think our audience is ready for it, especially because 'Ram-Leela' was a full on intense romance. It would be hard to accept and I don't want to battle that."
Eventually the role went to Priyanka Chopra.
Do you agree with Zoya's point of view?
