Homi's recent release 'Finding Fanny' has really worked out to be a hit on the box office. The director is on cloud nine right now but that has not stopped him from working. It is said that the director is all set to make the Indian remake of 'The Fault In Our Stars' which was a Hollywood movie inspired by the book of the same name written by John Green.
The movie was well received critically and commercially. With Adajania as director, Producer Dinesh Vijan and For Star Studios, the movie is set to be remade in Hindi. Vijan felt that such stories inspire the youth and they can relate with it. He confirmed both news about the remake and it being directed by Homi by stating "It's a love story based on a beautiful premise. Also, the protagonists have contempt for anything conventional, share a hilarious cynicism and have an exceptionally unique outlook on life. All this reeks of Homi, so it was a no-brainer to offer this to him as a director."
The story is about a 16 year old cancer patient who falls in love with an ex-basketball player who also happens to be a cancer survivor. Of course the story will have to go through a lot of changes so that it can be more appealing to the Indian audience.
