While Akshay Kumar is busy shooting for Neeraj Pandey's 'Rustom' here's some more exciting scoop for all Akky fans!
If reports are to be believed then Akshay Kumar will be collaborating with Priyadarshan for the Hindi remake of the Tamil thriller 'Visaranai'. Vetrimaaran who had helmed the original flick was quoted as saying to a leading daily, "Late last year, Priyadarshan saw 'Visaranai' and was blown away. Two days later he called me to say it was the best film he'd seen in a decade and bought the rights. He will direct and produce the Hindi film himself."
'Visaranai' is an adaptation of a novel called 'Lock Up' by M. Chandrakumar, a rickshaw driver from Coimbatore and revolves around police brutality, corruption and loss of innocence in the face of injustice.
