Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif will be seen sharing screen space for the first time in Nitya Mehra's directorial debut 'Baar Baar Dekho'. The film's trailer which was unveiled yesterday has already garnered appreciation from all corners for its unique story-telling.
While there has been reports on Sid's link-ups with his co-stars Alia Bhatt and Jacqueline Fernandez the young lad has something else to say when asked about whether he has any plans of settling down soon. He was quoted saying to a leading daily, "My mum is happy that I’m working hard and enjoying my bachelorhood. So, there is no such plan in the pipeline. Life is too long, and it’s going great as of now (smiles)."
He further added, "I want to be a family man one day. But so far, I don’t see anything on the horizon. I am enjoying my bachelorhood, my work, and all the love I am getting [for my work]. The ideal thing would be for your work to speak louder than your personal life. That’s our endeavour. It should be more about your performances and your movies. It shouldn’t matter what we do after pack-up. It is not difficult [to maintain that] from my side, but it’s difficult from the media’s side."
When asked about how he deals with the link up reports and constant focus on his personal life he quipped, "I haven’t asked for it (the media attention). But, it is all about understanding that this is part and parcel of the job. I think it is a love-hate relationship. Sometimes, it gets too testing to get noticed or not get noticed. On other occasions, you end up reading stories [about yourself], which don’t even matter. So, it depends on what time what story comes out."
