Kangana Ranaut's 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' impressed one and all and has been tagged as a huge blockbuster. The film already touched Rs.150 crore mark and continues to win several hearts.
Now, the petite actress will be working with critically acclaimed director, Hansal Mehta in his film 'Simran'. Reports suggest that she essays the role of a criminal in this movie.
It is said that in an interview, Kangana revealed that 'Simran' is not a biopic at all, but a story of a Gujarati girl, who goes to California and gets embroiled in criminal activities. She added that the film will revolve around a mother-daughter relationship.
Meanwhile, the actress will be next seen in Nikhil Advani's 'Katti Batti' opposite Imran Khan. The film will hit the big screen on 18th September.
