‘Manjhi’ Trailer- Nawazuddin hammers a powerful performance as ‘The Mountain Man’ co-starring Radhika Apte

It’s that time of the year when your Twitter and Facebook timelines are going to get filled with posts by various Bollywood-dedicated pages about the greatness of Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s acting and his journey from a watchman to the showman!

Reason: ‘Manjhi- The Mountain Man’ trailer.

The movie is based on the real story of Dashrath Manjhi who carved a path through a mountain in Bihar using hammer and chisel, for 22 years, after his wife died.

Nawazuddin wins hearts as the protagonist and displays various shades of the character with such ease and brilliance. He looks adorable and funny as the romantic village boy who falls in love with Radhika Apte, and looks convincing enough as the suffering man who has decided “Jab Tak Todenge Nahi, Tab Tak Chorenge Nahi.” He looks so amazing in the trailer that we wonder what would happen upon the release of the movie!

Radhika Apte looks beautiful.

The background music throughout the trailer is fantastic and motivating, however the start few second of the trailer showing Radhika and Nawaz’s love are accompanied with tunes from Raj Kapoor’s ‘Aawara’. Further Nawaz's funny antics take the trailer to another level and leave you with a smile!

Directed by Ketan Mehta and produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, the film releases on 21st August, 2015.
