After winning several accolades at various film festivals, Nagesh Kukunoor's 'Dhanak' is all set to be showcased at the Toronto Kids International Film Festival this year. The film director proudly posted a tweet , "Happy to announce that @Dhanakthefilm is headed to Toronto In April. Will show it at @tiff kids."
Earlier the film had won the Grand Prix for Best Feature, given by the International Jury in the Generation KPlus Section for Children as well as a Special Mention of the Children's Jury in the same section at the Berlin Film Festival held last month. Dhanak, which means 'Rainbow',is a heart-warming story based in Rajasthan about a young girl who is determined to restore the vision of her blind brother before his ninth birthday.

Kukunoor who is known to dabble and experiment with different genres in his films is extremely excited with this news. The Toronto Kids International Film Festival will be held from 7th- 19th April 2015.
