Nawazuddin Siddiqui's Journey Before Getting “Kick”

Nawazuddin Siddiqui's Journey Before Getting “Kick”

The actor who recently climbed another step towards fame and glory with his mind blowing performance in “Kick” which starred Salman had never dreamed of making it so big in the industry.

Nawazuddin says he was a normal theatre actor who just wanted to ACT in his life and had been rejected by many directors who constantly taunted him with regards to his skin color and height. The 40 year old actor had made his debut in Sarfarosh in which he had a less than 2 minute role, he then acted in Munna Bhai M.B.B.S where he feels for the first time his acting was felt on screen. The actor got his biggest chance with “Kick” where he bagged a prominent role that had shades of grey. He says his popularity increased after the movie as more people came to watch it due to the presence of Salman.

Nawazuddin regards Salman as a very honest and transparent character which makes it easy for the audience to connect with him. Nawazuddin signed off with a heart touching note saying that his mother was very happy to see him in proper clothes.
