Nishikant Kamat received rave reviews for his last film 'Drishyam' which starred Ajay Devgn. Now the director is planning to switch genres and direct a period love story.
A Mumbai Mirror report quoted Nishikant saying, "It'll be shot entirely in India. Ritesh Shah has written the script, we've been toying with the idea since six years. I want an actor from the younger lot for the male lead. Someone like Varun Dhawan, Ranveer Singh or Sidharth Malhotra. We might opt for a fresh face for the heroine."
The film will go on-floors next year after the release of 'Rocky Handsome' and 'Madaari'. Meanwhile Kamat is also planning to do yet another action drama and have discussed the story idea with him. Apart from this he will also direct a Marathi film 'Mauli' for Ritesh Deshmukh which will hit the shooting floors in August 2016.
