It looks like Shahid Kapoor who was to star in director duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK's 'Farzi' won't be a part of the project anyone.
"We are rescheduling dates for 'Farzi'. We are figuring out things. We are working out the dates for this film of Shahid. But things look tough as he has back-to-back films - 'Shandaar' and 'Udta Punjab'. So he will be busy promoting them as well," sources said.
"It is premature to say anything right now. May be in a week or so things will be clear," the sources further added.
Now it has been reported that Arjun Kapoor might replace Shahid in 'Farzi'. "We are thinking of other actors. We are considering Arjun. But nothing is finalised yet," the sources said.
'Farzi' was expected to go on floors in December last year but that did not happen. Then Shahid began shooting for Vikas Bahl's 'Shaandar' in London and returned to India in February to start filming Abhishek Chaubey's 'Udta Punjab'.
'Farzi' will be shot primarily in Mumbai.
