In 2012, what was touted as a major collaboration and new-found friendship in the B-town has apparently ended on a bad note!
Shah Rukh Khan and Rohit Shetty came together for the first time with the 2013 entertainer ‘Chennai Express’ that set the cash registers ringing at the box office, breaking every possible record. While the two were busy celebrating their success, parallel reports of Shetty’s old friend Ajay Devgn being unhappy with this dosti made the rounds.
Soon, the duo announced another film together- ‘Dilwale’ starring the superstar himself along with Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon. And while the entire world was expecting the movie to be a complete entertainer, it failed to meet everyone’s expectations!
And not just that, it even failed to make any noise at the box office- thanks to its clash with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’.
But looks like this major failure did not go down well with both of them!
If reports are to be believed then SRK blames Shetty for not making ‘Dilwale’ up to the mark, while Shetty considers it a wrong move by Khan to release the film along with Bhansali’s magnum opus.
And such has been the tension between the two, that one hears that they have taken an oath to never work with each other again!
So what happens to the third film they were planning together? And what happens to the remake of Sanjeev Kumar starrer ‘Angoor’? And what about the rumoured ‘Theri’ remake?
Looks like fans would never get to see SRK perform stunts and fly cars in the air ever again...
