‘Phantom’ gets banned in Pakistan, nothing surprising though!

Director Kabir Khan’s movie ‘Phantom’ has been banned in Pakistan at the request of Mumbai’s 26/11 attack master-mind Hafiz Saeed since he thinks the movie contains “filthy propaganda” towards him and his organization and would present him in a negative light!

Well, this certainly does not come out as a surprise since the movie does contain hatred towards the masterminds of the attack who have been hiding in Pakistan; and depite of Kabir along with the lead actors Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif making it clear that the movie is not anti-Pakistan but anti-terrorist, they too were expecting the same to happen!

However, the ban from theatres would surely not stop Bollywood lovers in the neighboring nation from watching the movie on via pirated CD’s.

The film is based on author Hussain Zaidi’s book ‘Mumbai Avengers’ and will be releasing on 28th August!
