Recently, Rajkumar Rao attended the screening of his film 'Shahid' at the Brahmaputra Valley Film Festival. The actor was quite overwhelmed with the response that he received there.
Rajkumar, who won a National Award for this film attended its screening which was the closing film of the ceremony. The event was attended by directors like Rajkumar Hirani and Shimit Amin.
After the screening, the actor even interacted with about a thousand youngsters present at the event. They spoke about his journey in the industry, being an outsider and cinema at length.
The 'Kai Po Che' actor was last seen in 'Citylights' and 'Queen' garnered a lot of appreciation from across quarters for his phenomenal performance. Going forward, the actor will be next seen in Mohit Suri’s 'Hamari Adhuri Kahaani' with Vidya Balan, followed by Hansal Mehta’s 'Aligarh' alongside Manoj Bajpai.
When contacted Rajkumar Rao shared, "Shahid will always be one of my most special films. The response to the screening at the Film Festival was quite overwhelming. I even had an interesting interactive session with like minded people which was enriching. Also, all the youngsters there could connect with my journey and wanted to know more about it."
