Vikramaditya Motwane's last film 'Lootera' wasn't exactly a box office but the film received accolades from critics. Next the director was to work on 'Bhavesh Joshi' but the film got shelved due to some unknown reasons.
However now we hear that the film-maker has wrapped up an untitled film based on life and relationships, with Rajkummar Rao as the male lead. The film has 'Liar's Dice' actress Geetanjali Thapa as the leading lady.
As per a Mumbai Mirror report Rajkummar plays a guy-next-door named Shaurya. The daily further quoted a source as saying, "It's the story of survival and finding oneself in the most adverse of circumstances. Raj has reinvented himself several times in the past for a role, be it 'Shahid' or 'Citylights', but in this case he undergoes a physical transformation too in the course of the film. It's a believable world and a character whose struggles are easy to relate to."
However the actor chose to be tight-lipped when asked about the film only admitting that it was exciting working with him and by far one of his most challenging roles.
