Ranbir, Deepika, Imtiaz and Sajid Nadiadwala off to Tokyo for 'Tamasha'

Recently, Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Imtiaz Ali and Sajid Nadiadwala flew off to Tokyo for the second last phase of shooting for their film 'Tamasha', which is Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt Ltd's upcoming venture. The movie brings together four of the biggest talents of Bollywood together for the first time.


The film has been shot at multiple locations across India and abroad. It began its first schedule in Corsica, France last year in June, and then headed to Shimla. The team also shot in parts of Delhi and Kolkata, and now flew to Japan to film the final shot.

As per reports, Ranbir’s character is a nomad, in the film, who is fascinated by all the stories he has heard in his growing up years. His character travels around the world, always trying to make people around him happy by performing on all the fairytale stories. Deepika Padukone's character is a die-hard fan of Asterix, a French comic series. 'Tamasha' is based on the theme of 'abrasion and loss of self'.
