Richa Chaddha's British film to be called 'Bombairiya'!

Bombairiya is the name of the British movie that will have actress Richa Chaddha of 'Tamanchey' and 'Gangs of Wasseypur' fame playing the female lead. This movie has been much talked about in industry circles and details are finally out.

Akshay Oberoi, who recently starred in the horror film 'Pizza', has been cast opposite Richa. The movie will be directed by debutante Pia Sukanya and is produced by Michael Ward, who is British and apparently born in India. Ward claims that he and Pia are essentially Indian at heart and consider the city of Mumbai to be an integral part of their lives. The movie will be based in Mumbai where Richa plays the role of a journalist and Akshay as an IT executive. Richa has stated that she is thrilled to work in 'Bombairiya' as she is in love with the script and can't wait to get started.

Richa has always been choosy about her projects and this script appealed to her because of its supposed universal appeal. The film is set to go on floors from December 2014.
