Riteish Deshmukh and Pulkit Samrat in the wonderful ‘Bangistan’ song Maula; brilliant lyrics!

We have seen many movies on terrorism, but here is one movie which has gained the image of being a different and funny terrorist flick much-before its release. And the same goes for its new song Maula. We have seen several songs which speak about terrorism, riots and the issue of religion giving a message of universal brotherhood; but this song is different. Let us find out why Maula is different, unique and brilliant!

At the visual side, the song starts with how Riteish Deshmukh and Pulkit Samrat walk past kids who are being taught to hate each other on the basis on their religions. The sequence where the two sides face each other to fight but instead end up throwing saffron and green color gulaal and the police men who had come there with water pipes to stop the riot, shower the water on them in order to let them enjoy their little play shows some brilliant cinematography.

The lyrics is what makes the song what it is- Amazing! And the man to thank for such beautiful and meaningful lyrics is Puneet Krishna. The song, composed by Ram Sampath, too is lovely and worth including in the phone’s playlist!

Overall, the song is worth the watch; and Riteish Deshmukh and Pulkit Samrat add star power to this soul-touching song! Hats off to the director Karan Anshuman. Indeed a different and the best one amongst all the other tracks of ‘Bangistan’ which releases on 31st July, 2015!
