The superstar, who has faced trouble from the police many times in the past, is in trouble yet again; this time for hurting religious sentiments during a fashion show. Salman Khan has a police complaint lodged against him on Thursday for disrespecting the sentiments of a religious community. A city resident Mohammad Arif, booked the 'Kick' star under IPC Section 295A (deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs).
The complainant stated that Salman Khan's NGO 'Being Human' had organized a fashion show in which a model walked down the ramp sporting a T-shirt which had an Arabic word inscribed on it. He said that this hurt the sentiments of a Muslim community.
A police officer confirmed this incident and said that their team is investigating further on this case. A video clipping of the fashion show has also been provided to them.
The actor, who also faced trouble because of the Black-buck case, has remained unavailable for comments. Salman has always a part of controversies and has another one added to his list. It will be interesting to know how the 48 year old actor will react to this accusation. Salman Khan will soon be seen hosting the popular reality television series, 'Bigg Boss 8'.
