Soon after Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor tested positive for Swine flu while shooting for the Sooraj Barjatiya’s film ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo’, her co-star and Bollywood actor Salman Khan has also undergone a H1N1 test on Sunday.
While Sonam has been flown back to Mumbai via an air ambulance and is being treated in Kokilaben Ambani Hospital, Salman Khan, who stayed back and was shooting for the film in Gondal, was likely to go to Sasan Gir for a lion safari.
However, he cancelled his trip at the last moment and instead chose to take rest in Royal Orchard Palace in Gondal, owing to the spread of the epidemic. The production team also confirmed to a national daily that no shooting was done on Monday.
According to a report in a leading daily, the state health department also confirmed the news. They said, “After confirmation of Sonam Kapoor's Swine flu reports, Salman Khan also underwent a test on Sunday but has been tested negative.”
Meanwhile, actress Swara Bhaskar, who is also part of the film, posted on twitter, “Fighting #swineflu on set! #PremRatanDhanPayo #showmustgoon #workiswork #SoorajBarjatya.”
