SCOOP: Alia Bhatt And Nawazuddin Siddiqui In A Movie Based On Kashmiri Rock Band 'Pragaash'?
Director Rajshree Ojha, who has previously directed Sonam Kapoor starrer ‘Aisha’, is currently working on her next flick which will be based on the former all-girl Kashmiri rock band Pragaash which was started by three teenage Muslim girls Noma Nazir Bhatt, Farah Deeba and Aneeqa Khalid.

And if reports are to be believed, then the movie will star none other than the ‘Udta Punjab’ star Alia Bhatt as one of the band members. Accompanying her would a Kashmiri local and a fresh face from Pakistan as the other two band members.

One also hears that the director has approached Shabana Azmi to play a character modelled on Asiya Andrabi, a pro-Pakistan separatist and the founding leader of Dukhtaran-e-Millat; along with Nawazuddin Siddiqui who will be seen essaying the role of a cop.

The band members quit after receiving death and rape threats from Grand Mufti.
