Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol's 'Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge' pulled out of Maratha Mandir

Bollywood’s longest running love saga ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’ starring the iconic Jodi of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, has been finally pulled out of Mumbai’s Maratha Mandir, after the longest run of 20 years.

The film, which released on October 19, 1995, was running to houseful shows at Maratha Mandir. In fact, SRK and Kajol celebrated film’s 1000 week run at the theatre on December 12, 2014 in a grand celebration.

Mobbed by fans, SRK and Kajol had arrived at the 1000 week celebration of DDLJ last month along with Yash Raj Films’ head honcho Yash Chopra’s wife Pamela Chopra. SRK and Kajol interacted with the crazy fans and even danced to some of their hit songs.

Directed by Aditya Chopra and produced by Yash Raj Films, ‘‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’ also starred Karan Johar, Amrish Puri, Farida Jalal, Satish Shah, Parmeet Sethi and Anupam Kher in the lead.
