The news that Shah Rukh Khan's 'Raees' will be clashing with Salman Khan's 'Sultan' created a frenzy everywhere. After all both the films have superstars! Naturally then both the films will eat a chunk of each other's business.
But it seems that after announcing the release date the makers of both the films are now having second thoughts. Recently when asked about Raees-Sultan clash, Shah Rukh Khan said, "I think it would be logical to shift the dates. We will try and figure out a way so that it doesn’t eat into each other’s business. It is awkward. I don’t think we want a Box Office clash." He further added, "Adi (Aditya Chopra) is my family and so is Farhan Akhtar (producer of Shah Rukh’s Raees). With all due respect I will speak to Adi and Salman (about avoiding the clash). I have spoken to Farhan already. If we have to change, one of us will move on. If they are adamant that somehow Eid belongs to Salman Khan, so be it."
So will 'Sultan' be a solo release this Eid? Let's wait and watch how the further story unfolds.
