Shweta Basu Prasad who was in the limelight for all the wrong reasons a while ago is now out of the rescue home. The national award winning 'Makdee' actress was caught by police authorities in a compromising position in one of the hotels that were being raided for prostitution rackets. It came as a shock to many as they spoke out, some in her defense and the others plain shocked.
At this time 'Haider' director Vishal Bhardwaj spoke in her support and said that he would love to create a role for especially for her in one of his future projects. While the actress served some time in a rescue home, she is now free and living with her mother and brother in Mumbai. It is yet to see whether Vishal Bhardwaj sticks to his decision and casts her in a film.
Shweta started her acting career as a child artist in popular television series 'Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki'. She gave a commendable performance in 'Makdee' which was also directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. She also featured in 'Iqbal'.
