Bollywood actor Siddhanth Kapoor, who was last seen in Anurag Kashyap's recently released film 'Ugly', will soon start shooting for Sanjay Gupta's next, 'Jazbaa'. For the film that also stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the actor has been following a strict fitness routine to sport a leaner look.
"My film goes on the floors in mid January and I was sweating it out in the gym two months back to lose 8 kilos. I don't think it was a tough task but it was needed for the character that I'm playing in the film. My character is in rehab, so i was required to look a bit undernourished," says Siddhanth. The actor reveals that to achieve his target in just two months, he had almost given up on food. He spent most of his time engaged in physical activities.
"Apart from hitting the gym regularly, I did not consume much food in the last couple of months. I also danced and engaged in other physical activities to lose weight," reveaks Siddhanth, adding further, "Throughout the first schedule, which will go on till February, I will have to maintain this look. Although I can't afford to go on the same diet regime as I might feel weak because of that, but I will have to consistently hit the gym."
