Taapsee Pannu's 'Pink' is yet to hit the big screen but the actress has already signed her next film, Neeraj Pandey's 'Meera'.
Buzz is that her character is will be based on the one that Tapsee played in Neeraj Pandey's Baby, that of a deadly Indian intelligence officer who makes mincemeat of a terrorist in a hotel room. Taapsee is quite excited to be a part of this film and was quoted saying by Bollywood Hungama, "I am really excited about Meera. A lot of people felt my character in Baby had potential for development."
However she also cleared the air about the relationship between 'Baby' and 'Meera'. Taapsee said, "While my character is going to be taken from Baby, Meera is neither a prequel nor a sequel to Baby, as reported. It's part of the Baby franchise. But it's going to be an independent film, though the character is derivative."
'Meera', to be directed by Shivam Nair, is also said to be starring Manoj Bajpayee and Prithviraj.
