Kangana Ranaut's 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' is still going strong and continues to mint money at the box office. It's simple plot with brilliantly written characters have worked wonders.
The film collected Rs. 6.65 crores on Friday, Rs. 9.40 crores on Saturday, Rs. 12.25 crores on Sunday, Rs. 5.15 crores on Monday and Rs. 4.65 crores on Tuesday. The total box office collection in India now amounts to a whopping Rs. 108.17 crores.
It is said to be the highest grossing film of 2015 so far.
The story of 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' starts from where the first film ended. It's been four years and the couple is already facing problems in their married life. Things take a different turn when Tanu gets flirty with her ex-lover Raja Awasthi (Jimmy Sheirgill) and Manu falls in love with Tanu's lookalike Kusum (Datto).
Directed by Aanand L.Rai and produced by Eros Inetrnational, the film has a star cast comprising of Kangana Ranaut, R. Madhavan, Deepak Dobriyal, Jimmy Sheirgill, Swara Bhaskar and Eijaz Khan.
