After being put through the weekend's test, Homi Adajania's 'Finding Fanny'; and Vikram Bhatt's 'Creature 3D' battle it out at the box-office this week. While 'Finding Fanny' has been doing consistently well as it earned close to 1.7 crores on Tuesday, 'Creature 3D' struggles to generate revenue.
'Finding Fanny' now stands as a success with stats showcasing an overall total of 20 crore nett. The film is expected to generate over 23 crores by the end of this week. This film has a star cast that includes Deepika Padukone, Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapur, Dimple Kapadia and Arjun Kapoor. The film revolves around the story of five oddballs who set out in search of a woman named Fanny a.k.a Stephanie Fernandes.
'Creature 3D' has collected a total of just 11.9 crores and this number is not expected to increase on account of negative reactions from the audience. Vikram Bhatt intended to make a film that proved as the answer to international creature films. It seems like the directors plans have backfired as Creature 3D has a very poor performance at the box-office. This film stars Bipasha Basu and Imran Abbas Naqvi in leading roles.
