Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, Ranveer Singh: Gen next stars at their 'grungy' best

Gone are those days, when the actors feared to experiment with their roles. The new generation of stars believe in doing things differently. They have been trying to break the mould and push the envelope further, in terms of acting.

Most of them have agreed to let go their 'chocolate boy' image and have tried their hand by getting into the grungy avatar.

The first one to do so, was Sidharth Malhotra. The actor essayed a grey character in his film 'Ek Villain'. Next, Ranveer Singh went all grungy for 'Gunday' and most recently portrayed a similar character in the critically acclaimed film 'Badlapur'.
