It looks like Vidhu Vinod Chopra's 'Broken Horses' has struck a chord with Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, too. 'Broken Horses' has the rare feat of being the first Hollywood film written, produced and directed by an Indian, that is receiving global appreciation. In fact, the prime minister, Narendra Modi too, reached out to Vidhu, wishing him well on his Hollywood endeavour.
Vidhu wanted to show his film to the Prime Minister of India. But, unfortunately due to Modi's hectic work schedule, a screening before the film's release was not possible. However, he sent a message to Vidhu thanking him for his invitation and wishing the film well. A spokesperson from Vidhu Vinod Chopra's office confirmed the development.
Vidhu and L.K Advani are very good friends too. As per a leading daily, he is going a private screening for Advani in New Delhi on 8th of this month. Vidhu will be on a two day promotional campaign for 'Broken Horses' in New Delhi and will get a chance to catch up with his old friend over his movie. Vidhu is quite excited to see his reaction after he watches the film. The film and Vidhu has already garnered a lot of praise from iconic directors like James Cameron and Alfonso Cuaron. Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan had launched its trailer in Mumbai.

The film set in the shadows of US-Mexico border gang wars, is an epic thriller about bonds of brotherhood, laws of loyalty and futility of violence. It boosts of a stellar cast comprising of Vincent D'Onofrio ( 'The Judge', 'Full Metal Jacket' ), Anton Yelchin ( 'Like Crazy', 'Star Trek' ), Chris Marquette ( 'Alpha Dogs', 'The Girl Next Door' ) and Maria Valverde ( 'Exodus' ). His technical crew on the film included, Director of Photography, Tom Stern ( 'Hunger Games', 'The Changeling' ), production designer, Toby Corbett ('Bad Lieutenant') and composer, John Debney ( 'Iron Man 2')
Distributed and marketed by Fox Star Studios, 'Broken Horses',will hit the theatrical screens on 10th April.
