Vidya Balan is all geared up for her Marathi debut with 'Ek Albela', the biopic on Bhagwan Dada. The actress who plays the role of Geeta Bali will be seen grooving to a couple of songs from the 1951 musical comedy 'Albela' including 'Shola Jo Bhadke', 'Bholi Dil Ke Khote' and now 'Shaam Dhale Khidki Tale'.
Director Shekhar Sartandel was quoted as saying, "We've used the antara from the original for a sequence that shows how actresses then would rehearse before the final shot, how they interacted with technicians. It was Vidya's first shot for the film and one of our favourite songs. We were going to use only a few lines but decided to go with the antara eventually."
Meanwhile Vidya was quoted as saying to a leading tabloid, "The way she used her hands was fascinating. Even for the dance sequences, it wasn't so much about the steps as expressions."
