After a magical chemistry in 'Aashiqui 2' Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor will be sharing screen space in Shaad Ali's 'OK Jaanu' which is the official remake of Mani Ratnam's 'OK Kanmani'. The film already hit the shooting floors last week.
We recently chanced upon a brand new still from the film where the duo can be seen sharing a light moment. Awww..isn't that too cute? Reportedly the crew has been shooting on Mumbai streets for the last two days, a long bike sequence in South Mumbai with the Sea Link as the backdrop. There were other scenes filmed at Flora Fountain, Fort and Regal Cinema.
"They're delighted to be in each other's company again. Shraddha giggles like a schoolgirl around Aditya, he too is enjoying the attention. They share meals and walk in and out of the sets together. It's like Aashiqui 2 all over again," a source from the sets revealed to Mumbai Mirror.
Shaad's remake, being produced by Ratnam himself, is a happy-go-lucky romance about a live-in relationship. Buzz is Shraddha will croon for this one too, after 'Aashiqui 2', 'Ek Villain' and 'Haider'. Only this time, she'll be joined by her on-screen love on the microphone.
The film narrates the story of Aditya, an ambitious video game developer who moves to Mumbai and meets Tara, an architect. "It addresses urban relationships with a couple who agree that marriage is not for them and decide to live in together for a short period of time while they pursue their respective careers.
Shaad is bringing back the Saathiya style romance by setting the indoor portions in a customised house with wooden interiors. The house owners, a happily married, retired couple, represent the older generation," the report further quoted a source.
Aditya was to film till April-end but the bike sequence left him with an injured back and a sprained shoulder on Monday. "He won't be able to shoot for a week. Work has been stalled and will resume in April," the source revealed.
