Recently, Farhan Akhtar had an insightful exchange with many well known people and celebrities at the United Nations Conference in New York.
The actor who recently became the UN Women's Goodwill Ambassador, met the UN Secretary Ban Ki-moon and former U.S. Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, and engaged in a panel discussion with them.
He also had in-depth conversations with other attendees at the sessions. The glittery event was attended by famous personalities like Meryl Streep, Chris Martin (Coldplay frontman), Anne Hathway and Dakota Fanning, who were all present to support gender equality. The conversations had people exchanging diverse perspectives.

Many of them reached out to Farhan and congratulated him on coming on board as the brand ambassador. They were quite inquisitive about his initiative, MARD and even asked him the actual conditions of the women in India.
The exchange of ideas and thoughts excited Farhan a lot and he even stayed back till late at the gathering.
Farhan confirmed the news and his spokeperson further added, "It was a powerful and moving experience for Farhan.
