Bollywood director Ram Gopal Varma may have embroiled himself in many debates and arguments with filmmaker Karan Johar in the past. But it seems RGV is in a mood to let bygones be bygones. The ‘Satya’ director got on to twitter and expressed his opinions over the AIB Roast controversy involving Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh.
RGV posted series of tweets in support of KJo and praised him for his guts for pulling off a show like this. He tweeted, “@karanjohar what u have done on AIB is not just path breaking but it will break many paths in the long run forever.”
“I feel what Karan did in AIB in time wil most certainly have a irreversible Before Karan/After Karan effect on the way india looks at itself. What everybody knows, everybody feels Karan had the guts to spearhead and also that he did it in that kind of style nd intensity I am blown. What books sociologists scholars couldn't do in decades Karan Johar did in 2 hours in a highly entertaining show nd that too so simply,” posted Varma.
He added further, “Whoever reacting negativly on AIB r just 2 bit dirt cheap publicity mongers who r Jst trying 2 get in ther own 2 bit reflected light of AIB. @karanjohar Very few wil realise the amount of guts n integrity needed 2 endorse AIB .tht u did nd wth the class u did I wanna touch ur feet.”
Well, we wonder what KJo has to react!
