Reportedly Hrithik Roshan whose lasting outing 'Mohenjo Daro' was a cold turkey at the box office has now been approached by Siddharth Anand for his next titled 'Fighter'.
As per a report in DNA, the movie is reportedly inspired by Tom Cruise's classic film 'Top Gun'. If Duggu accepts the role then this will be his first role as an Indian Air Force pilot. He has played the role of a soldier in Farhan Akhtar's 'Lakshya'.
The daily quoted a source saying, "It was during the making of Bang Bang that Siddharth had narrated the idea to Hrithik. Once the script was completely finished, he took it to the actor again. Hrithik liked the script. After that, Siddharth stepped out of Sanjay Dutt’s return vehicle 'Badlaa'. And Hrithik got busy shooting for Sanjay Gupta’s Kaabil. But after that film is completed, his dates are free as the actor has not committed to any other film. He even walked out of Thug."
In the film, most of the action will be aerial stunts and it will be interesting to watch Hrithik. This will be second outing of the director-actor duo after Bang Bang. Rumour has it, the huge budget of the film is the reason that they have not found any producers yet. The source further added, "It remains to be seen whether Hrithik’s dad Rakesh Roshan will consider coming on board as producer, considering the fact that the next instalment of Krrish is nowhere in sight."
Guess we will have to wait till the makers make any official announcement. Meanwhile Hrithik Roshan's next is Sanjay Gupta's 'Kaabil' co-starring Yami Gautam.
