Why Ranveer Singh can't watch 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy'?

Ranveer Singh is very eager to watch Dibakar Banerjee's 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy' but won't be able to do so, due to house-arrest!


The actor who has recently undergone a shoulder surgery, has been advised to take complete bed-rest by the doctors. Even before the release of the film, whenever Ranveer would meet Dibakar, he would enquire about the film, ask for some details which would let him know who the villain is, etc.


Ranveer was quite excited about the mystery of 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy' and had planned to watch the film when it releases. But then, he had a surgery done due to which the doctors won't let him out of the house. Now, the actor is even more eager to watch the film after learning that it has been garnering a lot of appreciation from the audience.

Dibakar Banerjee confirms the news and adds, "Ranveer had called me to say how excited he was to watch the film but unfortunately he was in the hospital with a broken shoulder. All of us missed him a lot during the screening. Wish him speedy recovery."
