Aamir Khan has been shooting in a village in Ludhiana for Nitesh Tiwari's 'Dangal' which is loosely based on the life of the famous Indian wrestler Mahavir Phogat.
The actor has finished the schedule there and is all prepped for his next schedule for the movie, which is planned to happen in Dango which is a village/hamlet in Pakhowal Tehsil in Ludhiana. When Aamir learnt that Dango is Dharmendra's ancestral village, he was most excited and he immediately called up Dharamji and told him about it and how excited he was to shoot there.
Dharamji was very happy to hear that, and he gave his blessings for the film. The two briefly chatted about the film and Aamir has promised Dharmendra that he will keep a screening for him as soon as the film is ready.
'Dangal' has already been in a lot of news considering Aamir has been sporting a beefed physique and even underwent rigorous training to prep up for his role. The film is slated to hit the big screens next year.
